As a lifelong airline professional, Juanita Traylor has seen the world’s most glamorous cities. She is passionate about family, travel and her community of New Market, Md. Look for her prize-winning cherry jelly and other entries at the Great Frederick Fair! Juanita has raised chickens in Frederick County for 30 years and is known by many as “the egg lady.” In addition to chickens, she has raised two wonderful children and is now a very devoted grandmother. Juanita was impressed by the Memory Ball last year, and by the spirit and passion of those who make it happen. She is delighted to support the Alzheimer’s Association and is grateful for the opportunity to dance in this year’s Ball.
Joshua Pedersen loves movies, cereal, New York City, and people. Making his public dancing debut, Joshua feels his talents are best suited for coordinating schedules for work meetings, organizing fundraisers or parties, and coordinating projects to end hunger or bring about world peace – but not in coordinating his feet and arms with music. Willing to risk anything for a good cause, he is happy to support efforts to end Alzheimer's and bring comfort to those who need it most. Joshua serves on way too many boards, works for the community, and happens to be the CEO of 211 Maryland.
