My grandpa, Phillip Luman Bailey, passed away from Alzheimer's when I was two years old. He was a loving father, grandfather, devoted husband, and avid lover of everything spicy. "If you aren't sweating, it's not spicy enough!"

In the words of my mother, "Daddy taught [his three daughters] to hunt, fish, shoot, ride motorcycles and appreciate life! He was generous with his time and loved giving back to the community. His onset of Alzheimer's was at the age of 68 and he died at age 73. He lived life fully every day."

I was inspired to make a difference in other people's lives through the Alzheimer's Association by doing what I can: a 30 hour livestream to raise funds for Alzheimer's research. Any amount donated will help contribute to this phenomenal cause to cure this terrible disease. Funds donated not only go to research to end Alzheimer's, but also to families, caretakers, patients, support groups, and those affected by Alzheimer's. Lets end this terrible disease together!

My grandfather currently has Alzheimer's, I believe now for about 7 years. I'm one of the few he still remembers (he remembers me even over some of his children), and it's definitely hard for all of us. I've noticed that he's started to progress a bit faster lately, and I can't help but dread that his time is soon. Anyways, great job for a great cause, very proud of you David and Christine, you're both awesome. Oh and Corbin for picking up the last leg, even though he didn't put me in the giveaways.

I remember fighting with my mother about talking to my grandmother on the phone. Every time we spoke she had to ask who I was. It drove me insane and eventually to the point of refusing to talk to her. She died shortly after. I never got to tell her I loved her. I was selfish and I urge all of you to make sure, even if they do not know who you are, to make sure you let them know you care. As they say, it is the thought that counts! Thanks again all for support the stream, go DJ!

I really like what you're doing supporting this good cause. My grandmother has sever Alzheimers before she passed and I know how it feels when someone you love doesn't know who you are. Thank you for your good work in helping to find a cure.

All the man love in the world wouldn't equate to the intensity of my passion for you babe. Christine might get jealous but I don't care!

My grandmother just passed away a few moments ago. She was living with us for about 5 years now and was a victim of dementia. She fought a long and hard fight and now she is in a better place. Its very heartbreaking seeing a person suffer like that and I just hope that they can find a cure sometime soon.

I've been watching the stream for over 12 hours now, and David is one of the friendliest people to interact with streamers. Him and his girlfriend are very dedicated towards raising money for this foundation, and although I am unable to, I hope that others donate.
Having his grandfather pass when David was at such a young age, it seems evident that he doesn't know much about him. But the remembrance of his grandfather that his family has done for themselves and for David, it's clear that he was a great man. To lose an amazing life to Alzheimer's is unacceptable.
Best of luck to David and his family, and I hope that the stream goes great for the rest of the day.

Well since I am unable to donate, I figured I might as well add to the guest book. So without further ado, sorry for your loss it is always a rough time losing loved ones, I personally have not lost any relatives to Alzheimer's but I have lost many way before their time due to other events. I'm glad to stay and support your stream do what I can in that way.
P.S. you said your brother looks exactly like him, I can see you look similar to your grandpa as well. Also your grandpa looks like he could have been some sort of model, what a baws.
