Our father Jim passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2019. In lieu of flowers we kindly ask friends and family to consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association to help fund their good work to one day soon put an end to the terrible diseases of alzheimer's & dementia. We can think of no better way to honor Jim than by doing what we can to help ensure no other families have to endure such a difficult challenge. Dad had a near decade long battle with vascular dementia and he took on the challenge like a trooper. It was incredibly difficult at times as he was aware he was deteriorating and it broke everybody's heart, but he nevertheless did his best to remain a great husband, father and grandfather. Thanks to drugs like aricept and namenda Dad was able to enjoy a good quality of life for a lot longer than he would have otherwise. We appreciate your support.
