Susie Moore was a beautiful wife, mother, relative and friend. Her jokes were God's healing medicine for our troubled souls... (Proverbs 17:22) She helped us see life with optimism, hope and joy. Susie was a tireless advocate for those in need, especially her family and friends. She sang like the angels as she directed various church choirs through the years. She was proud of being a “customer service” representative for Sears and US Airways in Raleigh, New Bern, and Charlotte, NC.
In her later years, Alzheimer’s Disease began to steal her beautiful smile, her memory, and the very essence of who she was. But there were two things Alzheimer’s could not steal from her: (1) her memory and love for her family and (2) her memory and love for her God. She miraculously remembered each one of us by name; even until the moment of her “transition” to be with her God. Therefore, Susie we will never forget you. We promise to work tirelessly to eradicate this terrible debilitating disease from the face of the earth. Amen!
