Betty Jordan Boucher was the seventh of nine children born to John Jordan and Burissa Pope Jordan of Columbia, Mississippi. She graduated from Columbia High School and later married the love of her life, Joe Boucher. They enjoyed traveling, gardening, and, at one time, they owned a couple of horses and a camp where family and friends gathered to share good times. As Joe's health declined the last couple of years of his life, Betty took the very best care of him in their home until he passed away. Later, Betty developed Alzheimer's and family and friends stepped in to take care of her. Sadly, the disease robbed her of her memories and her sweet disposition. Although Betty and Joe never had children, there were many people who cared about her throughout her struggle with Alzheimer's. Our hope is that friends and family will contribute in her memory to find a way to prevent and cure this cruel disease. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause in her name.

Aunt Betty,
We loved you and will miss you. We know you are at peace now and celebrating a new life in heaven with a perfect body and memories of your life on earth. It was an honor to be chosen to take care of you through your last days of your life. We will continue to support a fight for a cure.
Love,
Patti and David
