AN OVERVIEW OF THE FUND
The Holland Tribute Fund seeks to procure donors, including organizations and individuals that desire to help improve the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Through contributions and gifts, the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association can continue to move forward.
The fund also seeks to acknowledge those that have dedicated their time and benevolence, in order to help advance the Association’s mission. The Holland Tribute Fund proudly honors diagnosed individuals, as well as patients currently undergoing treatment.
OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE OF THE FUND
When someone close to us has experienced a serious illness, we can become inundated with numerous emotions. Regardless of whether you are a caregiver, family member or close friend, feelings of anxiety, sadness, uncertainty and adjustment are prevalent.
For anyone who has experienced circumstances of this nature first hand, it’s an important reminder of how precious, yet so fragile life really is.
The great news is that while Alzheimer's disease affects millions of individuals, with your help additional resources can be applied in order to facilitate new research, which is necessary to combat this devastating and pervasive disease.
In order to continue mitigating the effects of Alzheimer's disease, continued clinical research must occur. This can attribute to improved medical technology as well as the administering of proper medical treatment.
