John Clark and the Alzheimer's Association will continue to work together to a acheive a "world without Alzheimer's." John began riding in aide of the Alzheimer's Association in 1999. He conceived of this unique project to honor the memory of his beloved mother, Ruth Vivian Clark, who passed away from Alzheimer's in 2004. In 2015, however, John will be "shifting his gears" by taking on a new role - that of mentoring new cyclists who will continue to support this tradition. Every 67 seconds someone in our country is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. To draw attention to this fact, each cyclist will commit to ride 67km (41 miles) during the summer of 2015 anywhere in our state.
