Today more than 5 million Americans are living with
Alzheimer’s disease. One in nine people
age 65 and older has Alzheimer’s disease. One in three seniors dies with Alzhiemer's or another dementia.
Every 68 seconds, someone
in America develops Alzheimer’s disease and by mid-century (if we don’t act
now) someone will develop Alzheimer’s every 33 seconds.
Join our team as we come together to support the millions
affected by the disease and those who care for them, and, let's work together to change these statistics.
The Marathon committee has informed us that charity partners will not be confirmed until the end of April. Although we are awaiting final confirmation, you can register now and check back for updates.
If by chance we are not given charity partnership status this year, registration money can be refunded or remain part of your fundraising efforts. You will still be able support the Association, registering directly with the Marathon, and raising funds as a Run to Remember Team Friend. A personal website will still be available to share with family, friends and colleagues.
No matter what decision the Marathon committee comes to, we can all work together as a team to reach the $100,000 goal.
