Challenge yourself to change the course of Alzheimer’s disease by signing up to be an ALZ Star. Go the distance in the fight against this devastating disease by training for and completing the Columbus full or 1/2 marathon  while raising valuable funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

To get started, click on "Sign Up Now" above. Once you join the ALZ Stars, please register for the marathon or 1/2 marathon. Please note: In order to maximize the funds raised through this event, the ALZ Stars program does not automatically provide you with your race entry. After you sign up, it’s time to start training toward the finish line and fundraising to fight Alzheimer’s!

Registration

Register and raise the minimum of $600 in donations and the Alzheimer's Association will reimburse your registration fee (up to $85).

As an individual ALZ Star you'll receive:

  • An ALZ Stars technical running shirt.
  • Fundraising support including:
    - Your own personal fundraising webpage
    - Fundraising manual and email tips
    - Support from Alzheimer's staff
  • Invitation to the pre-race carb loading dinner
  • Access to the ALZ Stars tent (post race)

Whether you're an experienced athlete or just beginning your training program, ALZ Stars will increase local awareness and inspire others to take action in the fight against Alzheimer's disese as you train to complete the full or 1/2 marathon.
