What is a Friendraiser?
Friendraisers are third party events planned and hosted by caring individuals
that benefit the Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter. Some
examples of Friendraisers are Casual for a Cause, Bake Sales and Raffles. For

Host A Friendraiser
Take the rewards that come with doing good in your community, the joy of
bringing friends and family together and add the power of the Internet and you
have the ability to make a huge difference in the fight against Alzheimer's
disease - all while having FUN! Sign up today to Host a Friendraiser.
1) Determine the type of
Friendraiser that you want to host or plan. If you need ideas, please review our Friendraiser Guide located in the Information Section.
2) Fill out the Friendraiser - Third Party
A Friendraiser - Third Party Agreement needs to be signed in order to host an
event. The agreement is located in the Information Section.

through the steps and answer any questions you may have.
It takes just a few minutes online to get started.
After you have registered, Login to
begin using the Friendraiser site. Raise money using our online tools. Click on
the Information Section and note
our tips on How to create a personal page, How to send email messages and How
to use Facebook or Twitter. These tools will help you reach out to family and
friends to assist with your Friendraising efforts.
