Fight to end Alzheimer's Disease
My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in February 2023. It’s been hard for our family to watch someone you love be affected by a disease that currently doesn’t have a cure. Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
In 2024, I’m going to be running the Chicago Marathon in honor of my Mom and to help raise funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease. Please support my efforts by making a donation. Some employers (like Caterpillar) will match your donations. Here is the link to check to see if your employer will match. If your company matches donations, please send me the details of the match or a receipt so that I can double the impact of my fundraising efforts. The info that I'll need is:Donor Name, Company Name, Amount, Date submitted, Gift ID (if possible)

All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. On behalf of my family, I want to thank you for joining the fight to one day have a survivor.
Love you all,
Megan
