My Personal Fundraising Page
Dear Friends and Family,
This is the third year in a row that I am fundraising for the Vermont Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association by participating in the Camel's Hump Challenge. Many of you know of my family's struggle with Alzheimer's, particularly with the devastation of Early Onset. While skiing around a mountain in Vermont may not seem like much, this event will require training, commitment, tenacity and fortitude in the face of challenge and hardship - qualities that seem to relate directly with those that my family has exemplified over the past 7+ years.
By participating in this event, I am hoping to raise awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please consider supporting my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
