Run the Bank of America Chicago Marathon with ALZ Stars

Sunday, October 7, 2018

Make your miles matter by training for and completing the Chicago Marathon while raising valuable funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Whether you're a first-time marathoner or a seasoned veteran, you know the power of running.
Every mile of training will be more powerful when you are doing it for a reason that matters to YOU. We would be honored to be part of your marathon journey.

As an ALZ Star, we will provide you with the tools you need to cross the finish line, all while raising funds and awareness to END Alzheimer's disease.

Do you already have an entry into the Bank of America Chicago Marathon but you still want to make your miles matter with ALZ Stars?

We would LOVE to have you on our team! If you secured your entry via lottery, legacy, time qualifier, deferment or other - please choose one of the options below.

OTHER: If you qualify for an entry under the Chicago Marathon application rules, such as legacy, time qualifier, or other, we would love to have you on our team! You may set your own fundraising goals, but we ask that you raise $500 to participate in all marathon weekend activities including pasta dinner and access to exclusive ALZ Stars race day space.

OTHER w/TRAINING: If you have your own entry (via lottery, legacy, time qualifier, deferment or other) but would like ALZ Stars to pay for your group training, select this option. You may set your own fundraising goals, but we ask that you raise $700 to participate in all marathon weekend activities including pasta dinner and access to exclusive ALZ Stars race day space, in addition to your group training.

TEAM BENEFITS:

GUARANTEED RACE ENTRY: We do NOT have guaranteed entries at this time, but if you have your own entry, you can still join our team!

TRAINING: Whether you are a first-time marathoner or a seasoned veteran - we offer the perfect training plan to fit your needs and accomplish your goals. You will also have opportunities to participate in training and clinics on fundraising, injury prevention, nutrition, race day preparation and more as led by coaches and other experts in the field.

FUNDRAISING SUPPORT: We supply you with a "Ready to go" fundraising page. All you need to do is personalize and share with your donors. We also offer fundraising workshops and help to get you to your goal.

ALZ STARS TEAM GEAR: Show everyone WHY you run in your ALZ Stars team singlet to train in and wear on race day.

MARATHON WEEKEND EVENTS: ALZ Stars enjoy a pre-race pasta dinner as well as an exclusive ALZ Stars pre & post race meeting space with all the amenities you deserve - indoor meeting space, your own gear check, no line bathrooms, post-race massage and more - all just steps from the start/finish line!

POWER OF PURPLE: Most importantly, you will experience the camaraderie of a team that is striving for the same vision - a world without Alzheimer's.
