A Ride To Remember
& For Memories
I recently completed my "Ride Across America" to show my love for all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. On August 20 I started my bike ride in Portland OR, and ended in Portland Maine on October 5th. The journey took me over 3,800 miles, climbing over 150,000 vertical feet. I am made this ride in honor of my father who made me the man, father and husband that I am and everyone who has been impacted by this disease.
Today, an estimated 47 million people across the world are living with dementia. This number is set to skyrocket to 75 million by 2030 with another American being diagnosed with Alzheimer's every 66 seconds. In the United States alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. These numbers will only continue to rise unless we take action.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone. Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s and provide care and support to those facing the disease today.
Thank you. Follow me on my blog!
