Best-known for her rock artist interviews and the comfortable rapport with her listeners, it's no surprise Kaedy was inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame!
Steve Hightower is the award-winning owner of the Steve Hightower Hair Salon & Day Spa. From the "Talk of the Town Best Beauty & Day Spa" award to the "Best Hair Stylist" in both Jezebel and Best Self Magazines for many years running, and "Best Salon" from The Atlantan. Steve is also the recipient of the Best Self Magazine "Give Back Award," and the "Social Spot Light" award from the Social Charity Datebook. Steve recognizes how important it is to give back to the Atlanta community. He is the founder of one of Atlanta’s best galas “Thriving Children Gala “ and it is now going into its ninth year raising over $170,000.00 this year for Lost-n-Found Youth. The gala supports small charities that work with homeless children and youth here in Atlanta. He is also a strong supporter of Canine Companions for Independent, Santa for Seniors, Atlanta Breast Coalition, Lost-n-Found Youth and Alzheimer’s Association. Steve loves bringing out the best in his clients by transforming their hairstyles. He is recognized as one of the finest hairdressers in Atlanta. For nearly three decades, Steve has been a fine and thinning hair specialist. He loves to provide makeovers that give people a look that other hairdressers have not offered or considered possible for them. Steve says, “When meeting new people and helping them deal with their hair concerns, I strive to bring out a person’s best features and downplay their weaknesses. I do this by cutting their hair according to their face shape, hair textures, body type and lifestyle. It is important to focus on wearable healthy hair that they can replicate at home and in between salon visits. The result is looking and feeling their best on an ongoing basis”. One of Steve’s greatest joys in hairdressing is seeing his clients light up with excitement because they look better than they ever could have imagined. Steve is judging Battle for the Brain because he develops close relationships with his clients and has seen far too many people he cares about impacted by Alzheimer’s disease. Steve is committed to supporting the Alzheimer’s Association until we find the first survivor and #EndAlz.
