Bonnetta "Bonnie" Faye Brock Harvey, 79, of Castle Hayne, NC passed away on Monday April 2, 2018. She was born in Beaver, Pennsylvania on January 11, 1939 to the late George and Grace Brock. Bonnie moved to Fayetteville Georgia in 1972 and raised her family there. She owned a wall paper business in Fayetteville for many years and drove a school bus for Fayette County Schools for over 20 years. She was an active member of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City for many years. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her children and grandchildren. Bonnie is survived by her three children, Jill Harvey Cummings and husband Gary of Castle Hayne NC, Karen Harvey Abbott, and husband David of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Kevin Harvey of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Megan, Tim, and Laura Abbott; Drew, Allison and Kasey Cummings; and Abby and Sydney Harvey. She is also survived by her brother Blaine Brock of Pierpont OH and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Bonnie will be held later this summer with internment in a family cemetery in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family lovingly requests donations in Bonnie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association to hopefully help fund research for a cure for this horrid disease the steals our loved ones away from us much too soon.
