Why We Walk: By supporting the Alzheimer’s Association, we hope to increase awareness about the benefits of walking, encourage individuals to make important lifestyle changes and raise valuable dollars for research and education to fight Alzheimer’s disease.

We believe that participating in Walks across the country is the first STEP. Last year over 75 teams rallied 800 registered walkers to raise several thousand dollars. Because of you, funds raised will help fight Alzheimer's disease through vital research, advocacy efforts and essential support programs and services in your community.

But it doesn't stop there! Your team donations will play an important role in improving the lives of people living with Alzheimer's, their families and caregivers. Get your team out walking!

Did you know - walking vigorously for as little as 30 minutes a day can improve circulation, lower cholesterol and blood pressure and promote weight loss when combined with reduced calorie intake!

As we work to fulfill our corporate mission of "helping people live healthier lives," reducing chronic diseases through prevention and care is a top priority.
