Why We Walk: Thank you for the care you provide every day to our patients and residents who are affected by Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Many of us also have mothers, fathers or grandparents with Alzheimer's; so we see the devastating effects both from a professional as well as a personal perspective. NHC's Silver Level National Walk to End Alzheimer's® Team appreciates you and your partners who are forming teams & raising funds for Walks across all the NHC service areas. These Walks will help fight Alzheimer's disease through raising funds for vital research, advocacy efforts & essential support programs & services in our communities. Your team donations will play an important role in improving the lives of our patients & residents with Alzheimer's as well as providing much needed family support.
