Alzheimer’s affects families on so many levels. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease.
By walking, I am honoring my sweet hubby Karl who I lost in 2023. The disease robbed him (and us) of his quick wit and humor but never his love of our savior. We were amazed as he could still pray beautifully until the end. I am also walking for other family members who too have lost loved ones recently.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising efforts. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
