Carol Sams, aka Mom, Mama, Alice, Mrs. Sams, and Honey (to one great guy, anyway) was a social butterfly, the life of a party, and the fun mom. She was always creative, crafty, and caring, so loving, kind, and funny. I could not have picked a better mom.
I still miss my mom every day—even answering questions repeatedly and reminding her who I am would be welcome now. We continue to fight in her honor to end the terrible disease that took away the memories that we still had. The memories we repeatedly shared with her after she couldn't recall them on her own.
