Bring the family to the ballpark for Alzheimer’s Awareness night at War Memorial Stadium located at 1889 W Pembroke Ave in Hampton. Show your support of the Alzheimer’s Association by wearing something purple. General admission tickets are $5 each. Fans wearing purple can walk the bases in a pre-game tribute to Earl the Pearl on the baseball field.

Commonwealth Senior Living at Hampton will host a screening of the award-winning documentary, Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, which follows country music legend Glenn Campbell and his family as they navigate his journey with Alzheimer’s during his farewell tour. The screening takes place at the Commonwealth of Hampton located at 1030 Topping Lane in Hampton. Seats are limited so please RSVP to Jeremiah Carter by August 13th 757-345-8080. This event is free and open to the public but donations are welcome. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association
