Getaway this summer with the Walk to End Alzheimer’s! Start your Walk to End Alzheimer’s team to be entered for the chance to win exciting summer prizes. Walk to End Alzheimer's Team Captains registered by June 14, 2019, will be entered to win Columbus Clippers suite tickets on August 9 and a $1,000 getaway package*. The getaway package includes a $500 travel/airline voucher and $500 hotel voucher, redeemable by calling or visiting any AAA location. *Only team captains registered for one of our four central Ohio Walks including Marion, Delaware, Circleville and Columbus by June 14 are eligible to win the Clippers tickets. All Team Captains registered for a Walk in Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia are eligible to win the grand prize getaway package. Deadline to be entered into the drawing is June 14, 2019. One winner will be drawn on June 20 for the suite tickets and the Grand Prize getaway package. Winner for each prize will be contacted directly.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s website now allows participants registered for a 2019 Walk event to log in to their participant center and set up a ‘Facebook Fundraiser’ so that all donations received through Facebook will credit their fundraising page, and will be deposited directly to the Alzheimer’s Association and their local Walk campaign. Facebook Fundraisers can motivate more friends to donate quickly on Facebook, and have the funds appear on your Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraising page. You can easily invite your Facebook friends to support your Fundraiser, and they will see updates about your progress as well as from other friends who donate. Your donors are also encouraged to invite and share with their friends.
Follow instructions posted HERE to learn how to link your participant page to Facebook. Note: you have to start this process in your participant enter, NOT on Facebook.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Birthday Fundraisers and Donate Buttons do not count towards your Walk to End Alzheimer's total. This fundraiser needs to be started in your Walk participant center.
