I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
My Mother, Lydia spent 14.5 years in a nursing home with a healthy body but we lost her mind and contact, but not her loving personality and memories. I have friends caring for spouses, parents, or other family members and not only do they gradually lose the contact with the person they love, but it takes a huge toll to care for them. We are grateful for the support the Walk has provided in not only seeking a cure, but for providing care and support groups for the families of Alzheimer's patients.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
