SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
11:00 a.m. - Registration opens
12:30 p.m. - Opening Ceremonies
Walk will begin after conclusion of Opening Ceremony
ENTRANCE: Main Entrance off of Lake Shore Drive
PARKING: FREE in the park - just follow the signs.
ROUTE: There is a 1 mile walk route and a 3 mile walk route. The 1 mile route is paved is stroller & wheelchair friendly. The 3 mile walk route includes sand and IS NOT wheelchair or stroller friendly.
DOGS: Dogs are, regretfully, not allowed at Washington Park.
WATER STATION: Will be provided and set-up on the route.
WEATHER: The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is an all-weather event. We walk rain or shine, so please come prepared.
CHAMPIONS CLUB MEMBERS: You will receive your commemorative 2019 Champions Club Medallion when you check in on Walk Day if you did not receive it on Pre-Registration Day.
**VERY IMPORTANT**– Pre-registration for the Walk ends at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4th. If your teammates are not registered on-line by this time, they will need to fill out a registration form at the Walk. Save time and have them register early!
