I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
My family has been hit especially hard by this disease, and we need a cure or prevention in place before my generation becomes its next victims. My grandfather, dad, two uncles, and two of my aunts have been impacted by Alzheimer's. Please help fund research to keep my cousins, brother, and my children and future grandchildren safe from this horrendous disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. We are so close to finding the first survivor. Even the drug studies that fail can bring hope that we are closer to a cure. By switching course on research after one theory fails, the true cure may be the next theory. I have to think this way, as my Dad was part of the failed Aducanumab study, which focused on breaking down the amyloid beta in the brain.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
