Team BUDDY'S BUDDIES!!!
My Daddy, Buddy Donegan, is in the end stage of Alzheimer's Disease. For those of you who have not suffered through a loved one's struggle with this terrible and debilitating disease, it is a heartless, uncaring and cruel disease that slowly robs the person you love of everything they once were. There is nothing worse than realizing this person you've loved your entire life, that has loved you unconditionally and taken care of you, has always been there for you - no matter what, now no longer knows who you are.
There will not be a cure in time to save my Daddy, but I'm leading the way to get Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's, and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease.
Please make a donation to advance the care, support and especially the research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Anything that you can donate, even if it's just $1.00, would be so helpful and so very much appreciated. This is a disease that we all may face as we get older.
For any of you that do not like to donate online, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or private message me on whatever social media you are viewing this on, and I will be happy to give you the information so you can mail a check payable to the Alzheimer's Association.
For those of you that would like to walk with me on October 14th starting at the Walk of Fame in downtown Nashville, please join my team "Buddy's Buddies", then email or PM me and we will work out the logistics to meet on the morning of October 14th before the walk.
Even if you can't/don't make the Walk, please join my team to show your support!

Thank you so very much from me, my family, my friends, and especially from my Daddy, for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
