Faith's Walk Donation Page
The Walk to End Alzheimer's event is very special to me as a Sigma Kappa. The Alzheimer's Association is our national philanthropy and was one of the reasons I was so excited to be a part of Sigma Kappa last year. Alzheimer's has affected the lives of people very close to me, specifically my grandmother Marjorie, whose life was sadly taken by the disease. As I participate in the walk, I will be honoring my grandmother along with the millions who have been affected by this disease. Last year Sigma Kappa at the College of Charleston raised over $10,000 and this year we hope to do the same. Please help me and my Sigma Kappa sisters fight for a cure to end Alzheimers.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
