Elise's Walk Donation Page
Yesterday I participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's to show my support for all those affected by this disease. The purple flower I held represented my grandma Mary. Last year Sigma Kappa at Mizzou donated $98,228 to the Alzheimer's Association. This year I strive to raise even more money to donate to the Alzheimer's Association. Alzheimer's is the sixth leading cause of death in the US and the only one among the top ten causes of death without a cure, treatment, or prevention. I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
