Bailey's Walk Donation Page
As Vice President of Philanthropic Service for Sigma Kappa, I bear the responsibility of heading our Walk to End Alzheimer's team. Many of my sisters have been affected by the disease, and I love watching our chapter come together each year to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. But I don't just do this because it's my position. I do it because I too have been affected by Alzheimer's. To the right is a photo of my great grandmother, who passed away from Alzheimer's when I was young. I walk to help reclaim the future so nobody has to go through what my great grandmother went through. I walk so that one day, we see the first survivor of Alzheimer's disease. I walk so that families don't have to watch their loved ones slip away. I walk because memories matter. I walk to support the Alzheimer's Association.
In January, I had the opportunity to attend the Alzheimer's Association Leadership Summit in Orlando, FL. It was there that I got to see up close the passion of every Alzheimer's Association staff member. It was there that I got to see the huge impact that the Alzheimer's Association has on not only research, but care and support. This organization makes a tremendous difference in the lives of millions of people affected by Alzheimer's, and when we one day find a cure for this disease, we will look back and be able to see how important the Alzheimer's Association was in that discovery. From funding research, to care and support resources, to advocating for Alzheimer's funding from Congress, the Alzheimer's Association is making a difference. I fully believe there is no organization more worthy of your donation.
My fundraising goal is $500. Please consider making a donation to help Epsilon Mu reach our $62,000 goal. Any little bit helps! Thank you for joining the movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
