Team Name Signs!
All teams that raise $1000 by Early Bird Check-In day on September 4th will receive a team name sign to carry during the Walk! The team signs will be available for pick-up the morning of the Walk and we ask that you return them to the pick-up area at the end of the event so we can use them again.
A note about dogs at the Twin Ports Walk
Unfortunately, we will not be able to have dogs at this year's Twin Ports Area Walk to End Alzheimer's. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to accomodate our four-footed furry friends unless they are service dogs.
Last year we were able to have a dog gathering place outside the DECC. However, that space is limited this year due to construction in the area. Also, the Lakewalk received significant storm damage this past year. Some sections have been narrowed to the point that it will be a challenge to get our two-footed walkers through so the city has asked us not to have dogs for the safety of everyone.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding and please contact our Duluth office if there are any questions.
