Lori's Walk Donation Page
He was 'officially' diagnosed with early-onset AD at 54 years old, 14 years ago, in 2007. Once diagnosed, we realized that there were signs that we could recall as early as 1998.
We know that there will not be a cure in time for David but we fundraise so that others will not have to experience the devastation of this disease. (He has been under hospice care since mid-October.)
David's Dream Team will be participating in the Detroit Walk to End Alzheimer's at the Zoo, in Royal Oak, on Saturday, August 25.
(Registration is at 7:00/Ceremony at 8:30/ Walk at 8:50.)
To participate in the Walk, please register by clicking on the button above, on the left hand side, that reads: JOIN MY TEAM.
We need your support to help find a cure for AD. Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide. We are thankful for their services. Please click on DONATE at the top of the page and that will take you to my fundraising page. You may also click on MAIL-IN DONATION to the right of the DONATE button, print your donation form, and either send it to me or directly to Alzheimer's Association.
With hope and appreciation,
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
