Dear Friends and Family:
Well this is our 7th Walk and sadly this will be the first year I will not be able to bring my Bruce to the walk.
Over the last year he has changed so much in his physical health. We have moved him to his hospital bed, adding necessary medical equipment-------all the things which seemed so far off, and now a reality. This past month we have spent in the hospital and a rehab center.
I have been overwhelmed with the many changes Bruce has gone through this past year. That is why our request for your support has not been sent.
Once again we are raising funds for this walk! This is going our seventh year LIVING with this fatal disease. We continue to try to LIVE life to the fullest, since Bruce's diagnosis in 2012.
Yes, my Bruce still recognizes us and I continue to get a genuine smile with h is bright blue eyes looking at me lovingly. As life continues to change for us we look at each day as a precious moment and TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME!
WE SO MUCH NEED YOUR SUPPORT! Won't you please join us in our continued FIGHT against this fatal disease. Our commitment to helping find a cure for this disease continues. Once again we ask for your help with this worthy cause. Won't you PLEASE consider making a donation and join us in our goal - A WORLD WITHOUT ALZHEIMER'S? Your donation will help us in this fight. No amount is too small.
Please do continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers! Our vision is a World without Alzheimer's and with your help we can achieve that goal!
Jan and Bruce
We are walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the 2017 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, we are committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
We need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
