Ann's Walk Donation Page
I am a surviving caregiver. Caring for my husband during this terrible journey will always be part of who I am, but I wouldn't change anything I did even though my health was permanently affected.
As you know, I lost my husband to Early Onset Alzheimer's in 2006. He was only 66 years old. Ever since I have been leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5.5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. It is an epidemic. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together we can end Alzheimer's Disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. When I was a caregiver, I took advantage of many of their ways to comfort and assist me on this terrible journey.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
