Event Day Volunteers Needed on Saturday, October 13

Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups who are interested in helping at the event.  Volunteers are needed for route set-up and monitoring, registration, T-shirt distribution, greeting, promise flower pick up, cheer stations, roaming advocacy registration, Programs & Services, and entertainment.  You can sign up to volunteer by logging on to the Humboldt Walk to End Alzheimer’s website at: http://act.alz.org/humboldt2018;  emailing Kim Coelho at:  kcoelho@alz.org or by calling 296-9060.

 

Join us for Early Bird Check-In at the Adorni Center!

Please join us on Wednesday, October 3 for Early Bird Check-In from either 12:00 - 1:00 pm or from 5:00 - 6:00 pm at the Adorni Center, 1011 Waterfront Drive, Eureka. Check-in takes less than 10 minutes and is available for registered and unregistered teams.

You will have the opportunity to check in for yourself and also your entire team, turn in funds, pick up participant wristbands, any t-shirts earned and Champions Medals earned.

This will be the only opportunity for one person to check in an entire team. At the event, each team member must check-in.

 

Check out Pastels on the Plaza on Saturday, October 6th Artist Zach Glascoe will be creating a Humboldt County Walk to End Alzheimer’s square.

 

UPCOMING FUNDRAISERS

 

Amos Ranch Ramblers is hosting: Humboldt Cider Co's Cider for Non-Profits at 517 F Street, Eureka onTuesday, October 9th. 10% of the cider (growlers not included) sales goes to the Walk from 2:00 - 10:00 pm.  21+ after 7pm.  The event will include a mini raffle and prizes for those wearing purple.

Little Memories is hosting a restaurant take over at Applebee's Grill and Bar, 2846 Broadway, Eureka, CA 95501  on Thursday, October 11th from 5:00 - 9:00 pm
