The Ferrero family dealt with the ravages of Alzheimer’s disease for over 16 years. Lee faced the disease with humor, courage, and optimism. He never met a stranger and was always willing to step out and be the “face” of Alzheimer’s if it would help even one other person. He lost his fight with the disease in 2017 but we will carry on for him until the time when there’s an Alzheimer’s survivor. I’m optimistic that this can and will happen in our lifetimes.
There are approximately 7,000 to 9,000 people in our community diagnosed with the disease. That does not inlcude all of the undiagnosed sufferers or the families.
Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I’m committed to make a difference. Are you? Together, we can work to end Alzheimer's disease.
Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining me in this effort. Every cent raised makes a difference in our community.
