Jamie's Walk Donation Page
When I was five years old, my father remarried. Not only did I gain a mother to love me and provide a stable home, I also received the gift of grandparents, aunts and uncles, and many cousins. No one in my new family ever treated me like I wasn't a blood relative. As the first grandchild in the family, I was loved and embraced, especially by my new grandmother-Ruth Jackson. To honor that gift, and to thank Andrea Dietze for loving me like her own, I am raising money to support the Alzheimer's Association, because we lost Ruth too soon.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
