Lisa's Walk Donation Page
I'm really excited to participate in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® this year. Most of you who know me, know I am passionate about doing whatever I can do to help find a cure for this devastating disease. My dad passed away 3 years ago from ALZ. My mom was his caretaker and as many of you know, that is a more than difficult job.
This is my fifth year to participate. I am taking on a more active roll this year and will be filling the role of co-chair of the Brazos Valley Walk to be held October 14 in College Station. If you would like to join my team, please sign up! We will have lots of fun!
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for all your support and joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
