Jessica's Walk Donation Page
Hi all! For those of you that know me know that I never post anything super personal on social media. Endless pictures of dogs and babies, absolutely, but nothing near and dear to my heart. Well, the day before Thanksgiving last year my family found out that my mom was diagnosed with a rare progressive disease called Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA). PPA attacks the communication part of one’s brain and progressively takes away their ability to speak, read, write, and overall communicate. This horrible disease is a form of Dementia/Alzheimer’s and, unfortunately, has no cure.
Anyone who has ever met my mom, whether it was for 5 minutes or 5 decades, knows that she makes you feel like you have known her forever. She is truly the most genuine and kindest human on this planet. So, this November I put together a team to march in the Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s! My family and I will be walking for, and with, my mom and for past family members who have been overcome by some form of Alzheimer’s. We kindly ask that you think about donating and/or joining our team! Whether you have known me for years, met me once, or do not know me at all, my family and I appreciate your consideration to join us! Thank you! :)
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
