We have watched Alzheimer’s disease take two of our grandmothers, and right now Philip's mom is fighting the disease. If someone in your family has been diagnosed, then you know the truth, too – living with Alzheimer’s affects more than just the individual, it has an impact on the whole family.
Alzheimer’s can devastate a family, but families - mine and yours - can also work towards finding a cure.
The first survivor is out there somewhere, and we want to be part of finding them. We also know the grave importance of discovering a treatment and cure; we cannot expect to simply take care of Alzheimer's patients. WE MUST END ALZ!
The 2017 Tulsa Walk to End Alzheimer's is set, and we want you to be there with us every step of the way. Set your calendar for a full day of fun on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
The party will begin on our beautiful University of Tulsa campus with the Walk kickoff at 7:30 am. Next enjoy tailgating, games, and pre-game festivities as we prepare to beat the New Mexico Lobos. Finally, join us in the stadium for our 3rd Annual Alzheimer's Awareness Game and cheer on your Tulsa Golden Hurricane Football Team to victory.
Please take a moment to register to walk, and if you don’t have a team of your own, we invite you to join ours, TEAM SANDRA JEAN, in honor of Philip's mom.
We look forward to seeing you on September 23rd,
Ashli and Philip Montgomery, Head Football Coach of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane
