Bob's Walk Donation Page
Sherry and I would like to thank you for the supporting our ALZ Walk team last year. We are proud to say that the McEwan Family team raised $15,995 in 2016; good for third place overall in the greater Cincinnati area.
As you know our passion and energy around this disease is clear. My dad passed away last October after fighting this disease for over 8 years. Sherry’s mom continues to struggle with ALZ every day. My dad’s brother, my uncle, is 75 and has been diagnosed. It is blind to race, gender, age and social-economic conditions. We are committed to ending this disease. We don’t want our children or grandchildren to have this disease.
I continue to serve on the ALZ board of Greater Cincinnati supporting to find a cure, aid caregivers and raise greater awareness at the local, state and national levels. We are proud to say that the Cincinnati Walk last year reached the $1M milestone. Congress has increased research for ALZ to $1.4 billion for the fiscal year 2018. Awareness and funding continue to grow.We can find a cure!
Sherry will be leading our walking team this year (October 7th). We have set a stretch goal of $20K. We will match every dollar donated up to $7.5K to help us reach the goal.
Please support us. Your gift will go a long way to cure this disease.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
