Shannon's Walk Donation Page
It's that time again!
The Walk to End Alzheimer's is something that is very close to my heart.
Last year I raised nearly 2,000 dollars, and this year I intend to do much more. But I cannot do it without your help.
Last year I walked because the loss of my Nanny was so fresh. I poured my heart out in a story and tried to raise as much money for it as possible. As the day of the walk approached I couldn't help but feel all alone as the only person I wish could have been there, wasn't.
This year I walk for a much different reason. This year I am stronger, I am better, I walk because I know she wants me to be the best I can be.
I miss her all the time. I miss her smile, her laugh, her ability to make me feel so special. But I know she wants me to be the best person I can be.
As a young girl, I dreamed about being just like her; strong, independent, compassionate, and so much more. My nanny was the most selfless human being I knew, always giving to others, always showing patience, and sharing love
I need all the help I can get. Please consider donating to help me put an end to this terrible disease, so that we can save every memory that matters to us.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
