News and Announcements

DAY OF EVENT INFORMATION:

Sunday, September 10
Arcadia Creek Festival Place
145 E Water Street 
Kalamazoo, MI 49007 

Registration opens: 12:00pm
Opening ceremony: 12:45pm
Parking information: Parking is available in the lot off of Water Street, the parking ramp on Eleanor Street, and on the streets downtown. Parking is free downtown on Sunday.

Additional event information:
-All walkers of all ages must check-in or register unless they attend Packet Pick up on 8/30.
-In order to receive a t-shirt individuals must raise at least $100. Sizes range from youth to XXXL.
-Each registered walker may receive a Promise Garden Flower for the Opening Ceremony. Please hold on to your flower for the ceremony.
-Bathrooms are available at the site.
-The walk is a 3.2 mile route on the sidewalks of downtown Kalamazoo. There will be a one mile loop option. Walkers are not required to walk the entire route. 
-Dress for the weather!
-Water and a light snack will be available to registered walkers.
-Don't forget to wear your purple!
