Sigma Kappa has been supporting the Alzheimer's Association nationally since 1984. Our organization has given over $3 million dollars in research grants, including a $1 million grant for the Women's Alzheimer's Research Initiative. This grant funds clinical research focused on women, and studies led by female researchers. The Tau chapter of Sigma Kappa is located here on Bloomington in Indiana Universities' campus. This fall will be our chapter's second time participating in the Bloomington Walk to End Alzheimer's. This past fall our team was the top fundraising team for the Bloomington Walk, raising over $10,000. We hope to raise even more money this year, we have set our goal at $15,000. Please consider donating to help us reach our goal and make Alzheimer's a distant memory.
