WAYS TO FUNDRAISE: Why not use social media or email to your family, friends, and co-workers via the walk website or on your own to request that they support you by doing an online or check donation, as you’re walking to fundraise & support the Alzheimer’s Association's Kauai Walk to End Alzheimer's!  This is in addition to having fun, fellowship, & exercise, which are major ingredients to a stronger mind & body!!

WALKER FORMS: These are the forms you will use as a Registered Walker and to keep track of your fundraising.  Copies are available at the Kauai Walk website.  If you don’t have a computer and need copies of forms, please contact Rona below for copies.

  • Contribution Tracking Form: Please keep track of all your donations collected on the Contribution Tracking Form by documenting the donor’s name, mailing address, and how the donation was made. 
  • Donation Form: Donors can charge their donations online under your name or any other registered walker/team; however, if the donor wants to do a credit card charge offline, use the Donation Form to document their donation charge.

COLLECTION OF DONATIONS: Note that for all check donations you collect, please state your name & team’s name, if applicable, on the memo section of the check to ensure that you will get credit for collecting that donation.  Please make sure that checks are payable to: Alzheimer's Association.  Thanks!!

MILESTONES:  If you register to walk and collect a minimum of $100 donations, you will earn a purple Alzheimer Walk T-shirt, which can be picked up on Bank Night or Walk Day.  You can also become a Champion or Grand Champion by collecting a minimum of $500 to become a ‘Champion’ and earn a purple Alz. Walk T-shirt & a Medal OR if you collect a minimum of $1,000, you become a ‘Grand Champion’ and earn a dri-fit T-shirt & a Medal.  (all Champion/Grand Champion gifts can be picked up only on Walk Day.)  Go walkers go!!

REWARDS:  All registered walkers on Walk Day get a FREE door prize ticket.  In addition, for every $50 donation collected, you’ll get an additional door prize ticket.  More donations collected; more door prize tickets; more chances to win door prizes!!!  Yay!!

AWARDS:  After the Walk, the Top 2 Individual Walkers & Top 2 Teams who collect the most donations will earn awards!!!

EARLY SUBMITTAL OF DONATIONS & SIGNED REGISTRATION/WAIVER FORMS: You can turn in your collected donations, signed Registration/Waiver Form, & all above forms at the Walk OR if you want to turn it in EARLY so not to worry on Walk Day, you can submit ALL on Bank Night scheduled for Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Regency at Puakea.  If you earned a purple t-shirt, as stated above, you can also pick it up early on Bank Night.  If you do attend Bank Night AND submit your Registration/Waiver Form & the donations you’ve collected up to that day, you get an entry blank to enter a drawing for gift card prizes!! So check out Bank Night & good luck to all attendees!!

Preferably, we want all walkers and teams to be registered online prior to the Kauai Walk.  Thus, please tell your family/friends/co-workers how they can also easily sign-up for the 2017 Kauai Walk by going to our website, alz.org/walk and select the Kauai Walk to End Alzheimer's.
