Committee members plan the Walk to End Alzheimer’s from the kick-off to the wrap-up. Some committee members focus on growing the event, like recruiting new teams, covering the community in Walk materials, and securing sponsorships. Others focus on event production and find ways to enhance the event experience. Planning Committee members are always welcome.
Under each committee chair, we have a subcommittee of volunteers. If it is your first time on the committee, this is a perfect place to start and a great way to take your involvement to the next level. It is never too late to join the Walk Planning Committee.
Planning committee meetings are held approximately once a month January - December. Subcommittees might meet separately as needed. Check out our Volunteer page to see how to join our Walk committee today.
