News and Announcements

New Location This Year!

We are excited to announce that the Gainesville Walk to End Alzheimer's has found a new home at Depot Park. We know you will love it as much as we do!

How does a “whisper” turn into a cure? How does a “stigma” become a treatment? Who will be our first survivor?

Our First Survivor will emerge when our neighborhoods; our schools; our government; our families; and our caregivers start beating the drum for change  – the reverberation of voices multiplied, “Enough. We’ve had enough”. Simply, we will not lose one more person to Alzheimer’s. Not one more loved spouse; sister; brother; child; parent; friend; and neighbor. The Alzheimer’s Association wants what every family facing Alzheimer’s wants - a survivor – a glimmer of hope. But, we won’t know any victory without challenging our awareness, and our actions as a collective community of hopefuls. Take a moment and create your TrialMatch® profile. Then, ask three people to create their own. Together, we can make room for our First Survivor
