Kindra's Walk Donation Page
As a proud employee of the Alzheimer's Association, I am blown away each day by the amazing work done by my peers and also realize there is SO MUCH more that needs to be done; more people that need our help and services; more education we can provide to the community; more support our caregivers and people with the disease need; more research into finding a cure...
This disease has also touched my family. My great-grandmother, Florence, suffered from dementia and it was very hard on my family to watch our beloved matriarch slip away from us. My fiance's grandfather, Alex, passed away from Alzheimer's disease which was also devastating to their family.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
