Anne's Walk Donation Page
Dear Family & Friends,
This year will be my 10th year participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. However, this year will be much different for me, as I join others who have lost someone to Alzheimer's disease. My Dad passed away on April 7, 2017, so this year I will be walking in his memory and honor and in support of the first survivor of this awful disease.
The facts and figures of Alzheimer's disease remain daunting as the expenses for families and our country continue to rise. The cost of Alzheimer's disease in 2017 is expected to hit $259 BILLION! By 2050 the annual cost is expected to grow to $1.1 TRILLION (alz.com). We MUST find a way to prevent, treat and cure Alzheimer's disease. This is why I ask for your support to help the first survivor!
If you are unable to provide financial support, please consider participating in the Alzheimer's Memory Walk near you. The end of Alzheimer's begins here! Will you join me?
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
