Team Iron Bug Man is a team of employees, family, and friends of Superior Termite & Pest Management. The team is led by Superior's COO who is a Ironman triathlete and who will be racing in the Pensacola Marathon this November in honor of his grandfather, Doyle Simmons. (Hints the name Iron Bug Man.)
Our team was created in honor of Doyle Simmons Sr. father and grandfather of the owners of Superior and David Livingston father of Superior employee, DeeDra Livingston.
Pop, Doyle Simmons Sr., (March 28, 1939 - April 3, 2016) Doyle passed away on April 3, 2016 from Alzheimer's. He was a husband of 60 years to Jackie, a dad to Doyle and Angela, a grandfather (Pop) to Keith, Jennifer, Chris, Kayla, MT, Kristi, and a great-grandfather (Poppy) to Gary, Carter, Emry, Mckenna, Bryant, Jolie, Blakely, Hadley, Kamden, and Braxton. He retired from the United States Air Force and Fort Walton Beach Fire Department, serving our country and community for more than 40 years. Pop was the rock of our family. He knew how to do everything and could build or fix anything. He was sharp as a whip and strong as an ox. He loved his wife, kids, and grand-kids with all his heart.
David Livingston was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia, dementia, in 2014 at the age of 56. David is in the final stages of his fight with this horrible disease. He has been married for 38 years to his wife Linda Livingston and has two children, DeeDra and Shane (Kristin), and has one granddaughter Meagan. He is known for his active roll in little league baseball.
