PRE-SHOW ENTERTAINMENT
COME EARLY ON WALK DAY

Members of the Alliance Chorus have generously donated their talents to our upcoming event. Gates open at noon and they will take the stage a little after 1p.  We encourage all participants to come early and enjoy. The Hashtag Comedy Group will also be helping us out by giving participants in the stadium a chance to win fun purple swag and even some gift cards.  Come early and take a seat for your chance to win.

NEW SEATED OPENING CEREMONY
HUNTINGTON PARK

We are excited to announce our NEW SEATED OPENING CEREMONY that will take place inside Huntington Park.  To kick off the BEST WALK YET we want to fill the stadium with participants dedicated to the fight against Alzheimer's.  The opening ceremony will kick off right at 2pm, so come early and grab a seat, gates open at noon.  You won't be disappointed.

WALK ROUTE- 1.25 miles

Our walk is 1.25 miles on the streets of downtown Columbus.  The opening ceremony will kick off inside the stadium this year.  After our countdown we'll exit the stadium at the Home Plate Gate and hit the streets.  It's a short route with a lot people, we encourage you to move slow, enjoy your time and soak in the fact that nearly 5,000 people have flooded the streets to support the fight against Alzheimer's.  As you finish your walk you have the option to complete a cool down lap on the outside of the field (please stay off the grass).  If able, we ask that you exit up the stairs into the stadium.  You can always make a complete loop to exit where you entered but there may be a bit of a traffic jam.

PARKING ON WALK DAY

There are quite a few parking options on walk day.  The earlier you come the easier it is, gates open at noon.  (Come early to avoid road closures for the Walk).  All participants will enter at the main gate (corner of Nationwide Blvd & Neil Ave).  The map below shows two suggested parking garages that cost approximately $5-$10, however there are a number of parking lots and meters around the ballpark.  (CLICK HERE to enlarge the image below).

Bill's Buddies and The Ganzhorn Gang invites you to a special event in support of their fundriasing for the Central Ohio Walk to End Alzheimer's on Wednesday, September 20th, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM at Muirfield Village Golf Club, 5750 Memorial Drive, Dublin, OH. Event highlights include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a wine pull raffle and live auction featuring a variety of exclusive items including: Foursome at Muirfield Village Golf Club, 5 nights in a Turks & Caicos luxury villa, One week getaway to Sanibel Island Florida.  A special thank you to our wonderful host committee: Ms. Anne Dierker, Ms. Corde Robinson, Dr. Richard Vesper, Ms. Stephanie Savic Polk.
